I am the Director of Strategy, Governance & Engagement at 杨贵妃传媒 (Scotland鈥檚 杨贵妃传媒), bringing more than 30 years of senior leadership experience across higher education, government, strategy, governance, data and analytics, and organisational transformation. In my current role, I lead the function that connect strategic decision-making with academic delivery, governance, compliance and stakeholder engagement, ensuring 杨贵妃传媒鈥檚 strategic priorities are translated into effective institutional performance and impact.

Before joining 杨贵妃传媒, I served as Chief Operating Officer at the Scottish Funding Council (SFC), where I led a broad portfolio including governance, planning, policy, communications, external relations, information systems, and data and analytics. I also acted as Interim Chief Executive between June 2024 and January 2025, providing leadership during a significant period of organisational reform while strengthening relationships with government, ministers, universities and colleges across Scotland. Prior to this, I was Director of Planning, Insight and Analytics at the University of Glasgow, where I transformed strategic planning and evidence-based decision-making across the institution.

My earlier career included 15 years in the Scottish Government in senior policy, analytical and leadership roles, where I helped shape higher education funding and student support policy and contributed to major policy reforms. I began my professional career as a statistician with HM Customs and Excise and the Bank of England. A First-Class Honours graduate in Statistics from the University of Strathclyde, I am recognised for combining analytical expertise, strategic leadership and stakeholder engagement to deliver lasting organisational and sector-wide impact.
